SYNOPSIS:

The plot revolves around Henry Bingham, President of the Quail Valley Country Club, who wagers a huge bet and his wife's antique shop on the annual tournament between his and a rival club with his counterpart and opponent, the cocky and arrogant Dickie Bell.  He then discovers that Dickie has recruited his lead player and he is sure to lose the bet.  He advantageously finds out that his newly hired guy friday, Justin -- madly in love with Louise, a waitress at the club house -- is a great golfer.  So, along with his sex-starved Vice President, Pamela, also the ex wife of Dickie, they manage to put Justin in as their new lead player.  Justin does not disappoint until the tournament is interrupted by bad weather and he learns Louise has accidentally flushed the engagement ring he gave her down the toilet and he becomes unglued. The game resumes the next day, but he loses the lead and upset, takes an unfortunate swing breaking his arm. Bingham is desperate, and the appearance of his wife Muriel, complicates the matter, as she catches him much too close to Pamela.
